oof yeah i can see that being a huge tsunami of activity. the lovely thing about dreamwidth, more so than other platforms i've been active on, is that there's less of a feeling of missing out if you don't get stuck in immediately -- the post isn't going anywhere.

i definitely caught myself falling into that mindset of rushing. i'm glad i took my time in the end.

yeah i wonder if there's maybe too much focus on numbers in general? instead of meaningful interaction. i've been thinking along that trail of thought for a while, that it starts feeling too competitive especially when when interaction/appreciation is shown in numbers (likes, kudos, shares) rather than the depth or interest of responses.
