Yeah it's so easy to tally numbers and compare numbers, but honestly a long gushing comment means so much more than a lot of kudos. And I think most social media has that prioritization of current over deep where things just get lost and buried if you don't interact with it immediately. I like being able to fairly easily link from one Dreamwidth post to another so that I can make master lists of things and it's not lost in the mire.
