I relate so hard. The guilty feeling is probably always going to be something I struggle with, but giving recognition to all the other stuff I'm still making that feels fannish will hopefully help in tackling that.
I feel very strongly that creative hobbies go in seasons and need their winters to let the seeds germinate. Downtime is part of creating for me. Since I started thinking of it that way, it's felt like a weight off my chest. :') Who knows why creatives are so harsh on themselves gbjfhkd
